Questions from venue owners
Is the transport widget really free?+
Yes, completely. There's no cost, no sign-up and no ongoing fee. It runs on our servers using free public timetable data, so it stays free however much traffic your website sends it.
What does the widget show?+
The next trains, buses and ferries departing from your nearest stop in real time, tonight's last service home on each mode, a live disruptions link, and a button to plan a full journey. Everything is calculated for your venue's exact location.
How do I add it to my website?+
Copy the generated code and paste it where you want it to appear. It's a standard iframe, so it works on Squarespace, Wix, WordPress or any site that accepts HTML. Step-by-step instructions for each platform are included, and it takes about two minutes.
Can I match it to my brand colours?+
Yes. Choose a theme for the whole widget (warm, clean light, dark, or a plain black-and-white), then pick any accent colour on top so it matches your site. You can also choose between a full panel or a compact badge depending on how much space you want to give it.
Will it slow down my website?+
No. The widget loads lazily in an iframe and all the work happens on our servers, so it has no meaningful effect on your page speed.
Where does the data come from?+
Live TransLink timetable and service data for South East Queensland, the same source that powers the rest of GoThere Brisbane. We don't collect or store anything about your visitors.
