How to get to Bluey's World
⛴️ By CityCat — yes, all the way there
Northshore Hamilton is the downriver terminus of the CityCat, so the ferry runs right to it, a two-minute walk from the terminal to the door. Board in the city and ride it to the very end of the line, about 30 minutes down the river from Riverside or Howard Smith Wharves. It's a flat 50c, and it's easily the most fun way in for kids, especially if you catch a themed Bluey or Bingo 'CityDog'.
🚌 By bus — the 305
The 305 bus stops about a five-minute walk from the venue and runs on weekdays. A handy backup if the ferry times don't line up with your session, though the CityCat is the star turn.
🚗 By car
There's free event parking around the venue at Dock D, 281 MacArthur Avenue, roughly a 15-minute drive from the CBD. The easiest option if you're travelling with a stroller and a nap schedule to protect.
If you're leaving from South Bank
Staying at South Bank or spending the morning there? This is the dream run — one scenic ferry, no changes.
- 1Walk to the South Bank ferry terminal, right by the Parklands and the Wheel of Brisbane.
- 2Board the CityCat (route F1) heading downriver toward Northshore Hamilton — the live board below has the next few.
- 3Stay on to the very last stop, Northshore Hamilton. It's about a 35-minute glide down the river, past the city, Story Bridge and New Farm.
- 4Bluey's World is a two-minute walk from the wharf. That's it — one ferry, no changes, 50c.
💡 The same terminal sends CityCats both ways, so check the destination: for Bluey's World you want the F1 to Northshore Hamilton, not the one to UQ St Lucia.

About Bluey's World
Bluey's World is a large walk-through experience based on the hit children's show, which is made in Brisbane by Ludo Studio. Families explore recreations of the Heeler house and backyard and join in the games from the show. It runs in timed sessions at Northshore Hamilton on the Brisbane River, and popular sessions sell out, so it's a book-ahead day out.
The venue sits in the Northshore precinct beside Eat Street Northshore's riverside food markets, so it pairs naturally with a meal by the water on a Friday to Sunday. Allow a couple of hours for your session plus the short walk from the ferry.
On the day
Book your session in advance, entry is timed and the popular slots sell out. Arrive a little before your slot, and check the last CityCat back to the city before you go, particularly for the later sessions. Tickets to Bluey's World are separate from your 50c fare.
