Warner Bros. Movie World opened at Oxenford on 3 June 1991 and is the Gold Coast's movie-themed park, known for its big roller coasters, Hollywood-style shows and the DC superhero rides. The Wet'n'Wild water park sits right next door, reached on the same TX7 bus.
Between the thrill rides, the stunt and character shows, the parades and seasonal events like Fright Nights, it's an easy full day, and with Wet'n'Wild's slides and pools next door you can make a two-park trip of it.
On the night
Plan around the TX7 bus, which only runs roughly 9am to 6pm. Check the last bus back to Helensvale and the last train or tram before you leave, especially on a late-closing or event night.
