About the Queensland Children's Hospital
The Queensland Children's Hospital is the state's specialist children's hospital, in South Brisbane beside the long-established Mater hospitals precinct, which includes the Mater Mothers'. Between them they draw families from all over Queensland every day.
Parking around the precinct is notoriously tight and pricey, and with the busway 100 metres away and South Bank's trains and ferries in walking distance, public transport is usually the least stressful way in, especially with kids in tow.

Give yourself a buffer before appointment times, and if you're visiting with children, Mater Hill busway station is the closest arrival point, about a two minute walk from the hospital entrance.
