About The Star Gold Coast
The Star Gold Coast opened at Broadbeach in 1985 as Conrad Jupiters, the Gold Coast's casino, and was rebranded The Star in 2017. Alongside the casino it has hotels, a theatre and a string of restaurants and bars, all a short tram ride from the beach.
The theatre hosts touring shows and concerts, the restaurants and bars run late, and the hotel towers look out over the coast, so it's grown into one of Broadbeach's main nights-out rather than just a casino.
On the night
The tram makes a night here easy, so eat at Broadbeach or Pacific Fair first and ride in. The tram runs late along the coast; just check the last connection at Helensvale if you're heading back to Brisbane.
