Getting to Brisbane Entertainment Centre by Public Transport

Boondall station is on the Shorncliffe line, and the venue puts the walk at 600 metres from the platform to the Centre, so allow seven or eight minutes at an easy pace and a little more in a post-show crowd. Trains run regularly, and on concert nights services are stronger to move the crowd. From the city it is a straightforward ride with no changes for most people.

One thing worth checking before you commit to the train: for late finishes, the venue itself warns that some services may not connect depending on when the show ends. Check the live departures before the encore rather than after it.

For some major shows there are event shuttle buses, and regular bus routes serve Boondall too. If your trip is easier by bus the planner will route you, but the train is almost always the simplest option to this venue.

There is ample onsite parking, and the Centre charges $18 per visit, payable by card to the attendant on the way in. Accessible bays are the same price. Check the venue's own page on the day in case the rate has moved.

The cost is not really the problem though: the car park empties slowly, and the roads around Boondall and the nearby Gateway feed into a single post-show crush. By the time the car park clears, the train crowd is long gone. At 50c each way, the train is both cheaper than the car park and calmer, which is the whole argument for a sell-out show.
