Cleveland line status

Live closures & works · the bayside line

The Cleveland line runs east to the bay — Wynnum and Manly for the foreshore, Cleveland for the island ferries. It's a quieter line than the southern corridors, but when it closes for works, the bayside wants to know. Here's its live status and the moves when the trains pause.

The bayside by train

This line is a genuine day-out: hop off at Wynnum or Manly for the foreshore, or ride to Cleveland for the island ferries. When it's closed for works — the why is in the trackwork guide — replacement buses cover the gap and the journey planner strings them together live.

Late services are in the Cleveland, Wynnum and Manly last-train guides, and how reliably this line runs sits on the reliability tracker.

Cleveland line questions

Is the Cleveland line running today?+

The live panel above shows every current alert on the line — planned closures appear days ahead, delays within minutes. No alerts and trains on the board means normal running.

How do I get to the Bay Islands if the line's down?+

Cleveland station is the gateway to the ferries for Coochiemudlo, Macleay, Russell and the other Moreton Bay islands. When the train's replaced by buses, allow extra time to make your ferry connection — the journey planner factors the replacement services in.

Does the Cleveland line go to the bayside beaches?+

Yes — Wynnum and Manly stations put you a short walk from the foreshore, the wading pool and the fish-and-chip strip. It's one of the easiest beach-ish days out by train from the city.

What's the last train home on the Cleveland line?+

It changes by night — our last train home guides for Cleveland, Wynnum and Manly cover the line's late services, and last service home gives tonight's live answer.
